Are you ready for the yoga event of the summer?!
We are so excited to announce the third Elevate Akron Outdoor Yoga Festival & Vinyasa Class at Lock 3 Park right in the heart of downtown Akron on Thursday, July 14th from 5:30-10:00pm. Our community event aims to celebrate the beautiful souls of Akron and highlight the yoga studios, businesses and people who make Akron a very special hOMe.
You can look forward to a free all-levels vinyasa class with Tracy Rhinehart, food trucks galore, an Akron vendor's market highlighting local artisans, and live music by The Hitmen rockin' it out until closing time!
Event Schedule:
- Registration & Check-In - 5:30pm
- Opening Speech from our featured non-profit City Sprouts - 6:15pm
- All-levels Vinyasa Yoga Class led by Tracy Rhinehart - 6:30pm
- Food Trucks, Akron Vendors Market & Live Music until 10:00pm
Our goal has always been to ELEVATE our community and this event will be no expection! For this event we have partnered with City Sprouts, a non-profit serving three community centers in the neediest parts of the Akron. City Sprouts provides after-school programs including a community garden that teaches children how to grow their own food, allowing them to take home fresh produce in the summer.
All proceeds from purchasing a "Sowing Seeds of Love" bags will go directly to City Sprouts and we are encouraging all attendees to bring a packet of seeds to donate to the City Sprouts Garden at event check-in.
Event Shirt/Packet Pick-Up:
To ensure a smooth event, we strongly encourage you to attend packet pick-up to receive your event packet containing your event wristband and event gift bag. Pre-ordered tees and tank tops will also be distributed at Packet Pick-Up. Pick-Up will be at the lululemon Akron Showroom on:

Wednesday, July 13th from 11:00AM to 6:00PM

Parking:
Since Lock 3 is located right in the heart of downtown Akron, there are multiple parking decks that are just a quick walk away!
The closet parking decks to the venue are the O'Neil’s Parking Deck on W. State Street and the Cascade Parking Facility off of Mill Street. Surface lots are located on W. Other Important Details:
- Arrive Early. Music, day-of check-in and yoga mat parking starts at 5:30PM. We will kick off the festivities with our assistor introductions, thank yous and vinyasa class promptly at 6:30PM. Please allow yourself plenty of time to park, visit our food/drink vendors and have your mat rolled out at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the class!
- Order Event Tee & Tank Tops Early: To ensure that you get the size and style that you want, make sure you’ve purchased your apparel online before Friday, July 1st.
- Need a Mat? We will have a limited number of free mat rentals available at our registration tables (first come, first served). We will exchange a mat for your license and will keep it safe and sound until your mat is returned at the end of the evening!
- Rain or shine. This event will be held rain or shine. Besides, who doesn't love dancing in the rain?! : )
